Will there eventually be PlatformIO support for the revb?

I’m not too familiar with PlatformIO, so I’m not sure who actually provides support for boards there. I’m trying to follow a youtube guide on RISCV assembly, and the person making the tutorials is using it for the original HiFive1 and it looks pretty awesome. Just wondering if that was something that SiFive provides, and if it is I was wondering if that was coming.

Hi Penguin,

We are in the process of providing the maintainer of PlatformIO access to HiFive1 Rev B hardware. Stay Tuned!

Hi Penguin,

See my answer here HiFive1 RevB Now supported on platformio?.

Hi Ivan,

I’ve seen your response! I appreciate the update, however, I’ve basically stopped using the hifive1 revb for now. It seems like theres a lot to get past just get started with the board so I’ve shelved it for now. I also went back to see if debugging did work after updating and it still didn’t work. =/ I am going to try to get it working before i shelve the board again, though.
Just kidding, the debugger does work now! Sweet deal. Thank you for the update
