Confirming: All E310-G002s have FMAX of 320MHz

I have a SparkFun RedBoard RISC-V with FE310-G002 (the actual part # on the board). SparkFun’s product page says “up to 150MHz” but the FE310-G002 datasheet lists FMAX 320MHz. I’m curious if these parts are binned (and thus some won’t run at 320MHz) or if this is an oversight at SparkFun?

BTW, 320MHz MCU: shiver with excitement

The -G002 will run at > 300 MHz reliably. The newer -G003 ( with 64k DTIM) is more like 250 MHz although it is not binned and there is no datasheet information. Beware that regulators can overheat depending on the board you are using (the FE310 draws a LOT of current at 300 MHz)

Thanks - I did some further testing and found the -G002 would run at 320MHz and it does warm up a bit. Was really just curious about the SparkFun documentation at first, then a little speed-crazy

Cheers,
