Hello, I’ve just received the news that Intel will not buy SiFive:

Even though Intel decided not buying it, I would definitely pay 1 thousand dollars for a share of the company and I suppose a lot of other people would too. I bet the amazing folks at the company would quickly transform these 1 thousand dollars into 1 billion dollars. I have no idea how private investments work though. Maybe we could discuss with SiFive and make an investment pledge, so that we can better formalize from there.

What do you think ?

Unfortunately, US regulations make it very very difficult for normal individuals to invest in companies that aren’t publicly traded i.e. pre IPO

Your best bet is generally to work for the company.

Personally, I think intel not buying SiFive is a good thing.

I’d sure like to support SiFive, but i don’t know how (besides buying the Unmatched :slight_smile: ).
