i want to measure power consumption of the FE310 MCU on my hifive1-B board – and not the board as a whole…
others boards i’ve worked with have a dedicated header where i could insert my ammeter…
i’m specifically trying to measure power consumption when in “deep-sleep” – so i’m clearly down in the uW range…
Hi @biosbob from the schematic about the only thing you could measure directly is across R1 (100 Ohms) but you’ll see only the AVDD (pll) component.
Perhaps smaller boards like Sparkfun’s RedV Thing, or Michael Welling’s LoFive, would make power consumption measurement easier. It’s a great question.
is it possible to power the board through 3.3V pin directly??? if so, i have a power measurement solution that might work…
