End of life lifecycle?

According to Mouser (https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/SiFive/HF105-000?qs=zW32dvEIR3vHEV%2FPYYkdMA%3D%3D), the Unmatched is " Scheduled for obsolescence and will be discontinued by the manufacturer. "

What does it mean? Is it still worth buying nowadays?
Should we expect a revision or even a new board later on?

I would suspect that with technology advances the unmatched was a small batch run and not a product to be kept in stock especially since it was intended to get a somewhat standard off the shelf form factor board into developers hands. New cores/CPU’s come out so there could be a successor board? Let’s hope.

Please see our update in the Unmatched forum:

I wonder what the next name will be? Unleashed, Unmatched, ?

I’d buy an Uninspired board just for the meme factor.
