Desktop stuck after apt upgrade

Hi, I find my Ubuntu 24.04 GNOME destop stuck after doing sudo apt update & sudo apt dist-upgrade. The gnome-shell process takes 100% of CPU and the GUI is very slow to respond. This doesn’t seem normal. Seems that the cause of the issue is upgrading of package eswin-eic7x-gpu from 1.18+0ubuntu1 to 24.2+0ubuntu16. I am sure that the old version of the package works well. So is this new version of the package ready for use? Thanks for your help!

We realize this is a problem. And we will deliver a hotfix ASAP.

Thanks for the quick repy! By hotfix, do you mean a further update of this package? And what should I do to get the fix? Another sudo apt update & sudo apt dist-upgrade?

Yes. Correct. We already fixed it. And please try it again. Let me kow if any issue.

Yeah, I’ve just upgraded the package and seems to work! Thanks for your help!
BTW: I noticed the package description mentions rockos. Shouldn’t it be ubuntu?
