We are working on unmatched board, and we want to check firmware update process of ASM2824 PCI switch available on unmatched board.
For the PCIe switch part ASMedia ASM2824, we got to know that there is a tool to update its firmware or parameter setting on to SPI flash interfaced with it. SPI flash updated is needed for any future issue patch/fix or optimize SI setting.
ASMedia have provided us utility called ASMT MPTool that can be run on Windows. This utility has to run on host processor where ASM2824 is directly interfaced and perform the firmware or setting update.
does anyone have access to such utility that can be run on unmatched board to updated ASM2824’s firmware or settings?
