Forgive me if this is a repost but is there a way to gracefully shutdown the HiFive1 Rev B, instead of yanking the power cable?
You can reset microcontrollers, maybe put them into a low power sleep mode waiting for an interrupt, but shut them down? No such thing. There is nothing other than removing power.
What would be more graceful? There is no non-volatile storage, so no buffers to be flushed, or disks to be cleanly unmounted.
