My current focus is on portable development tools for bare-metal embedded applications. I maintain several open-source projects, like GNU MCU Eclipse, µOS++, xPack.

I promote the use of C++ in embedded applications, modular solutions, POSIX compatibility.

My development environment is based on Apple macOS, complemented by Linux Docker images and virtual machines.

I know which is the hot end of a soldering iron, I do have a Tektronix scope and a logic analyser, but I do not consider myself a hardware guy.
