# Installing the Freedom E300 Toolchain

Total noob here. I’m following the github readme file to setup the Freedom E300 Arty. I’m to the point of installing the toolchain from [sifive.com/products/tools](http://sifive.com/products/tools). I downloaded the package and extracted. I cd into the extracted directory and try to run ./configure only to get `bash: ./configure: No such file or directory` I’m not sure where to go from here. Installing on Ubuntu.
