# Configuring Temperature sensor on Hifive FU-540 board

Hello guys , i want to do a little demo on FU-540 board, with the temperature sensor, is it possible to get the result, if so can anybody just suggest me the sensor that is compatible for the sifive FU540 board.

The FU-540 SoC doesn’t have any embedded temperature sensor.

You could of course if you wish add an I2C or SPI sensor somewhere yourself.
