# Anyone receive their Unmatched?

about removing the heatsink… im afraid to try myself, but for the unmatched board, but does that easily come off?

I got mine on Tue, June 15, in New Zealand. Installed and booting to linux from supplied sdcard. Seems to mostly work with an nvidia GT710 via nouveau … but the X system stops responding to clicks after a few minutes.

The heatsink should come off pretty easily. I think you can put a small flat head screwdriver into the tabs to release them.

Ah. Passed by you on Tuesday southbound and again on Thursday northbound, but I’m home 790 km drive away now.
Nezha arrived into my courier authorised hiding place while I was away so that’s going to be the focus for the next little bit, writing and experimenting with vectorised code for it.

i see, ive got a quieter 4cm fan (as some people here have done) for now, but i might try that larger heatsink as you mention, when i have some time to try, thanks!

Finally got the board.
According to GSG doc(ZH), “PCIe switch” is translated into “开关”, which is surely not appropriate.

I filed an internal doc bug report for the translation error. Google translate suggests 交换机 instead though I don’t know if that is right either.

That should work. But note that simply replacing all 开关 with 交换机 does not work. In SiFive’s document, there are (at least) two distinct uses of “switch” that need to be translated differently in Chinese.
Switch (as in power switch, reset switch…):
- Simplified Chinese: 开关 (lit. open/close)
- Traditional Chinese: 開關
- Japanese: スイッチ (transliteration)
Switch (as in LAN switch, PCIe switch…):
- Simplified Chinese: 交换机 (lit. exchange machine)
- Traditional Chinese: 交換機
- Japanese: スイッチ (transliteration, same as above)
