# 5.11.10 Kernel hanged while reboot

I believe reboot is still not implemented in OpenSBI, so hardware reset is required after running reboot.

If I’m not mistaken this topic has been already addressed in this thread : [Reboot command](https://forums.sifive.com/t/reboot-command/4721).

No solution so far.

Correct, reboot is currently not implemented in firmware and software stack.

Thanks everyone! Guess I had to put it under a WIFI switch to “hard” reset 🙂
